Onenote Download For Macbook Pro

I can't open Onenote on my Macbook Pro with Yosemite. One day I got an error message saying that the Onenote-application was closed incorrectly and since then I haven't been able to open the applikation.

I tried to uninstall/reinstall several times, but it doesn't work. I've used the follow method to uninstall:

Finder->Applications->Trash->Empty Trash->Restart->Reinstall->launch

I've also tried to remove specific folders from the Library:

In line with a report from last week, Microsoft today launched OneNote for the Mac, making several significant changes to the service for both mobile and desktop users. The biggest change is in pricing with OneNote now free across all supported platforms for personal use. The free Mac app also. I’m an Apple guy and I use a MacBook Pro and iPad Pro but I feel that Windows has a much better One Note experience. I was wondering if there are any inexpensive OneNote Windows devices that are like an iPad Pro but run the Windows 10 OneNote that people would recommend? But you can also manually download the updates: Open the Mac App Store from your Dock or Finder. Click Updates on the left side menu, then click Update All. Before I had my iPad Pro, I was only using my MacBook Pro with Evernote; all of my notes were typed. However, once I started using my iPad Pro with OneNote, my whole attitude towards studying changed. I ENJOY studying now that I can take handwritten notes as well as draw mind maps with ease, ASLONG SIDE, reading my textbooks with the multitasking.

~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac and

~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office

And followed this solution (which help others) but it work either:

- Delete this folder: ~/Library/Containers/com.microsoft.onenote.mac

- Delete this folder: ~/Library/Group Containers/UBF8T346G9.Office

- Open up “Keychain Access” app on your Mac, and search for “MicrosoftOffice”. If OneNote recognized that you signed in, you will have an entry with a long name. Delete it.

- Restart your computer.

- Try launching OneNote and signing in again

I've also used an application for removing apps on MacBooks, and reinstalling Onenote afterwards, but that didn't help either.

Also, I can't delete the keychain for MicrosoftOffice on my Keychain Access.

Does anyone help me?

Onenote pros and cons

Is this a good question?

Comments:

I am having the same problem but not using Yosemite. I was copying a text and it had a symbol in it but I did not catch it. Now I cannot open it on my MacBook Pro. I had the same problem on my iPhone, but I was able to delete the page and now it works fine on the phone. I need help. I use One Note for everything. All my schoolwork is on it.

After rebooting and everything coming up fine right after a restore from Time Machine backup.

When trying to open OneNote, the screen starts flashing and a small icon is shown spinning bottom right next to Downloads. Also it was putting up thousands of boxes asking to Allow Always, Disallow or Allow for Keychain access. The system then goes into a loop and has to be turned off to stop it.

The latest Microsoft 365 and Office 2019 updates make the productivity suite fully compatible with macOS Big Sur and Apple Silicon — but it is not native code for the M1 processor.

The latest release of Microsoft's Office suite of apps including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and OneDrive can be installed on devices that are based on the Apple Silicon architecture. For the best experience, install the November 2020 build 16.43, or newer.

Beyond Apple Silicon compatibility, the new release includes the 'latest optimizations for macOS Big Sur' which is expected to be made available on Thursday afternoon.

Microsoft says that the Apple Silicon updates have feature parity with the previous versions. It also says that the first launch of each Office app will take a bit longer, as macOS is generating optimized code for the Apple Silicon processor — confirming that the code isn't native to Apple Silicon, and is relying on Rosetta 2 for operation.

There does not appear to be any discrete download at this time. The new updates are available through the Microsoft Update utility in macOS.

A Microsoft 365 subscription comes in business, personal and family versions. The business version costs from $5 per month per user, and the personal edition is $6.99 per month.

Microsoft recently announced that it was officially ending support for Office 2016 for Mac on October 13, 2020. Apple Silicon compatibility in Office 2016 is questionable.
